Service messages only, and only if you ask for them
We send no marketing or promotional texts. We text you only about the inquiry you contacted us about. Reply STOP at any time and the messages stop immediately.
The program
There are two programs and nothing else.
Customer detail confirmations. When you call our office, our office assistant takes down your name, the address of the work, your phone number, your email address, and what you are asking about. She then reads you back what she has and sends it to you so you can check the spelling. If you ask for it by text, you get one text with those details, you reply YES if it is right or reply with the correction, and if you do not reply we send at most two reminders and then stop; the office may call you instead.

How you agree: by voice on the call
This is the only way a customer joins. Near the end of the call, after she has taken your details, our office assistant asks:
“I’m sending over what I took down so you can check it. Is text or email better?”
If you choose text, she says:
“Text it is. Someone from the office will get back to you soon.”
The texting details come in the text itself. The first message you receive carries the full program information: message and data rates may apply, reply HELP for help, and reply STOP at any time to stop. It looks like this:
“PMCC: Hi [your first name], it’s Lucia. Reply YES if this is right, or just reply with the fix. [the details you gave on the call] Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”
Only somebody who asks for a text gets a text. Somebody who asks for email, or who does not answer, gets an email. Saying yes to texts is never a condition of getting an estimate or having work done. Our calls are recorded, and the recording is our record of what you agreed to.
How PMCC staff agree
PMCC’s owner and office staff agree in writing when they are set up on the office system, and get a welcome text confirming it. The wording they agree to is the same wording shown below.

By giving PMCC your mobile phone number and saying yes to text messages, you agree to receive service related text messages from Professional Marine Construction Company about your inquiry, your estimate, scheduling, and updates to your work. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing is not a condition of any purchase. Your mobile phone number and your opt in information are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Stopping them, and getting help
Reply STOP to stop all messages from that number immediately. Reply HELP, or call 305-619-5086, for help.
